Bread Pudding (Trenary Cinnamon Swirl)

¾ Loaf Cinnamon Swirl Bread
5  Trenary Toast
2 Cups Whole Milk
2 Eggs
1/3 Cup Toasted Coconut (Optional)
1/3 Cup Walnuts (Optional)
½ Cup Raw Honey
1 Tsp. Vanilla (watch my video on making your own)
¾ Tsp. Cinnamon
1/8 Tsp. Nutmeg
3 Tbsp. Maple Syrup

Preheat  oven to 350

When you cut your bread have like 1” pieces, I filled my baking dish is see how much I needed around 4-5 cups. Add Coconut and Walnuts.

Chop up 3 Cinnamon Toast in chunks.  Mix with your bread.

Beat your eggs with honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla then add milk.

Dump over your bread and let sit until bread absorbs mixture, about 15 minutes.

Transfer to your baking dish, buttered, I topped it with 2 cinnamon toast crushed up like bread crumbs.

When it has baked 30 minutes drizzle Maple Syrup on top.   Bake another 20-25 minutes.  It will puff up, the top will get nice and crunchy……Speechless!!!!!  Well you might moan…

Drizzle for top:

4-5 Tbsp. Salted Melted Butter
1/3 to 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
2-3  Tsp. Lime Juice

Melt your butter, add powdered sugar, mix good.  Add your  Juice and it will turn into a nice loose glaze.   If this sits it gets hard when the butter cools, just place in microwave for 10 seconds.

Awesome Sauce!
