Applesauce
Fill a 5 quart pot with 4 cups of water.
Cut 20 large apples and add to water. (I leave the skin on but you can peel if you want. If you don’t have a food mill I would peel.)
Cook until tender.
After apples are cooked either put in food mill or blender or you can use a potato masher to get the consistency you want.
My recipe calls for 2 ½ cups of sugar, but taste it as you add the sugar
too make sure you don't over sweeten. Sometimes I substitute honey from my bees.
Add 3 tsp of cinnamon.
Hot water bath for 20 minutes.
