Children's Book - Quilton Finds A Special Friend

Your young reader will love this adorable porcupine, Quilton and his friends of the forest. This is the first book by this new author and illustrator, Cindy Lawry of National Mine, Michigan. Cindy suffered a traumatic brain injury that landed her in the hospital. She had a long, hard battle back. As part of her therapy, she began to drawn pictures of adorable woodland characters and write little stories about their adventures. Her nurses were so impressed, they started sharing them with the kids in the Pediatric Wing. They would report back to Cindy telling her how much the kids loved Quilton and his friends. This encouraged her to take the leap into self-publishing.
